Spring Into Action virtual fitness challenge
Who’s ready for a fitness boost? This March we will once again be running our popular ‘Spring Into Action’ virtual fitness challenge, just for fun! How far can your legs take you?
Throughout March get out walking, riding or running, and see how many miles you can cover, wherever and whenever you like!

2021 participant Helen said: “My Highland pony and I took part in Spring into Action last year when he was 6 months into recovering from Chronic Grass Sickness. He needed in-hand walking to build up his muscles and help keep his morale up. The weather was fantastic and it was a great incentive for us to get out and about together whilst raising money for a very worthwhile cause. Hopefully we can take up the challenge ridden this time”

Leonie said “20 years ago I completed my PhD on Equine Grass Sickness. Today I’m chuffed to have completed 209 miles running/walking (6 miles were on 4 legs, thank you Nellie!) for my 30 day challenge for Equine Grass Sickness Fund, beating my target of 151 miles”

Set up a fundraising page at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/SpringIntoAction2022 and join our private Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/springintoactionforegs
We even have a Strava club! https://www.strava.com/clubs/GrassSickness
You can do this just for fun, but as an incentive we will be awarding anyone who raises £100 a commemorative rosette, a sash to anyone raising £250 and an engraved silver slaver for £1000, plus an invitation to our VIP Awards Event later this year
