Scottish Equine Breeders Association – The Past, Present and Future of Grass Sickness

A fabulous and most informative day was had at the Royal Dick Vet last Satuurday. Dr Scott Pirie gave a fascinating talk on grass sickness, weaving in the past, present and future of of research into grass sickness. It was evident from the subsequent question and answer session that many in the audience had first hand knowledge of the disease, and that we are all united in our wish to find a way to prevent this disease. A delicious lunch followed before tours of the Equine Hospital began, and many of the participants came to support the EGSF stand. Particular thanks go to Jane Barry who organised the event, and to Scott Pirie for hosting it.
