BHS Scotland launches Balmoral Sponsored Rides
BHS Scotland is delighted that Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for a sponsored ride to take place at Balmoral on Sunday the 25th of May. The event will be held to jointly fundraise for BHS Scotland and the Equine Grass Sickness Campaign.
BHS Scotland chairman Dr Derek Knottenbelt said: “ The wonderful thing about Balmoral is the beauty of the route we are planning, it follows wonderfully surfaced estate tracks into the foothills of Lochnagar and returns through magnificent ancient Caledonian Forest. The views of Royal Deeside are stunning and it will just be a spectacular day out for everyone who takes part.”
There is a choice of routes one 15km in length and one 5km.
