A locked gate and an unintentional dooking!
Day 4 Ballindalloch to Tomintoul was rather more eventful than planned. A long detour to navigate a locked gate resulted in our adventurers getting lost – plus an unscheduled swim for Leanne! Fortunately the ponies were in a paddock overnight and Leanne was able to dry out all her things in the farm boiler room. Hubby Alan was the hero of the day, supplying dry clothes, flasks of tea and her phone seems to have survived its soaking!
