Recent EGS case reports urgently needed for research studies
Case reports are vital to our research work. Currently we have two live research projects which require samples to be taken from premises where there has been a recent case of grass sickness. Cases can be reported confidentially HERE.
We are also urgently seeking horses and ponies living on premises where there has been a case of EGS since January 2012 for a vaccine trial. A successful pilot study showed the vaccine to have no adverse reactions but a wider trial is necessary to test the efficacy of the vaccine against grass sickness. EGS Vaccine Poster
