Heald Town Highland Ponies hosting a special auction of a tour of Her Majesty The Queens Balmoral Highland Pony Stud.
The auction is on their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/healdtownponies, from 10am to 10pm on Christmas Eve.
The auction winner will receive a personal tour for four of The Balmoral Highland Pony Stud during June or July 2022.

The tour will be personally hosted by HM The Queen’s Stud Manager and President of The Highland Pony Society, Sylvia Ormiston, MRVO. Sylvia will also be hosting a lunch for the auction winners. Sylvia is a passionate Highland Pony Enthusiast and true stockwoman who will be delighted to share her knowledge and experiences whilst touring the breeding mares, stallions, foals and traditional working hill ponies.

The Balmoral Stud is based on the Balmoral Estate which is privately owned by the Queen herself. It is well documented that Balmoral is one of the places Her Majesty holds closest to her heart. Having visited ourselves it is very easy to understand why, we think it is one of the most magical places on earth. If you keep your eyes peeled you could spot historic cairns and monuments, an array of wildlife including red squirrels, deer and maybe even the elusive capercallie along with the stunning Castle itself and of course the wonderful Highland Ponies.

This is a truly incredible opportunity. This prize cannot be purchased by the general public and we can’t thank the Balmoral team enough for donating this truly special lot to the Heald Town auction.

All profits are for charity and will be going to The Equine Grass Sickness Fund.
Auctions will be live from 10am to 10pm on the day of the auction. Any late bids will not be count and the timing of the winning bid is to be determined by Heald Town Stud whose decision is final.
Bids are to be placed in increments of a minimum of £5, there is no maximum amount that can be bid.
You can bid as many times as you wish whilst the auction is live.
All auctions will have a reserve price, if the reserve is not met the prize will be withdrawn from the auction and may be re-offered at our discretion at an alternative date.
All bids MUST be placed in the comments of the original auction posts, bids placed anywhere else WILL NOT COUNT.
All winners must make payment within 12 hours of the auction ending, otherwise we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next highest bidder.
Dates are limited to June and July 2022 only for the Balmoral Stud Tour and are to be mutually agreed by both Balmoral and the auction winner in advance. All travel to and from the event are the sole responsibility of the auction winner. Heald Town Stud and the Balmoral Highland Pony Stud take no responsibility for any losses as a result of cancellations that are outside of our control.
All COVID-19 guidelines will be adhered to. Booked dates may be required to change subject to any local or national restrictions or guidelines. If this is the case we will seek to rearrange at a mutually convenient time. Heald Town Stud nor the Balmoral Stud take no responsibility for any losses as a result of such matters that are outside of our control.
