Blue Cross National Equine Health Survey
Here are the results of the 2018 NEHS by the Blue Cross, which give a snapshot of the UK’s equine population on a single day. Interesting to note that the prevalence of grass sickness is reported at 0.2%
‘EGS had an overall reported prevalence of 0.2% (0.1% in 2017 & 2016; 0.1% in 2015, 0.2% in 2014)’
Unfortunately 2018 was the final survey, and the survey will not be repeated in subsequent years.
