Obituary: ‘Listy’ Montgomery-Davies

‘Listy’ Montgomery-Davies, owner of Whiteloch Farm Stables, Macmerry, sadly lost her battle against cancer on 17th November 2015. She had run the British Horse Society (BHS), Trekking and Riding Society of Scotland (TRSS) approved stables since the late 1980’s and had represented riding schools on both society committees for many years as well as serving as secretary on the Lothian BHS committee. She learnt Tellington Touch, Reiki and other alternative techniques for helping horses overcome stiffness and used these techniques to help many riders with their horses.

The Riding School had long supported the Equine Grass Sickness Fund by selling calendars, Christmas cards etc and £1053 was raised at the funeral in lieu of flowers.
Her husband, Mike and her friends and all of us at the Equine Grass Sickness Fund would like to thank all contributors.
